When my Dad's health started failing and he was no longer able to fish offshore we became regulars at PCB city pier. The only reason that we were "accepted into the fold" with the end of the pier pros was because the majority of them were former old salt long liners like my dad that where in the same boat sort to speak as he was. Man we had some fun back then and it was more enjoyable at times than the offshore days. Which is a lot of work for everybody involved. Also, my daddy built a pier fishing cart from an hand truck over twenty five years ago. By the time he welded all the pole holders and an assortment of other contractions I bet that thing weighed over one pounds. lol Somebody stole it off his truck one day when he stopped off at Good Time Charlies on beach front road for a few beers one afternoon. Luckily he did lock his poles and tackle boxes in the cab.

I really enjoy these kinds of threads and it reminds me why I joined this site. Glad you some fun killbuxs!
