I would have thought that. Back in the 90s when I was a school administrator, the state passed a law that said it was ok to have a prayer before a HS football game. But goons from the state department of education in Montgomery took great pleasure in telling me that Federal law trumped it and we couldn't do it. So we didn't.

Now it seems like that the church is on the other side so they are saying the state law trumps the federal. Seems like it's heads, I win, tails, you lose when government is dealing with anything to do with the church.

Yes sir, I totally understand. Those "separationists" are always screaming, "it's the establishment clause of the 1st amendment"!
No it absolutely is not! There is absolutely nothing in the constitution about separation of church and state, nothing! No such language.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

churches don't need any ones permission to open. The constitution gives the right to open.

This is a fact. Fear shut down the churches. The ones still closed are closed out of fear. Might need to crack a bible open and see what it says about fear. Might need to read up on what it says about trusting man instead of God. It clearly says "forsake not the assembling together". Those were and are Gods instructions. He did not say unless you think its safer not to assemble together. For several weeks our churches did not follow the instruction of God. There will be a price to pay for it.

How is weed legal in Colorado, then? Isn’t weed illegal under federal law?
