I’ve had stuff stolen, and didn’t file a report because it wasn’t worth the time. They aren’t going to scour the city looking for the chainsaw and blower I had stolen last weekend. It’s my fault for not making sure the garage door went all the way down when I closed it. When I realized the items were stolen at 6:45 Saturday morning, the last thing I wanted to do was call the police over and spend an hour dealing with all that. I know what truck stole it, but I couldn’t get the tag.
