Replaced the starter on my 94 Landcruiser yesterday and rotated the tires,
Hurt all over today. About to be 54, still think I'm 24 sometimes, but not today.

I feel your pain! It's funny how your mind says one thing but your body tells you something different!

Saw a article the other day. Said majority of folks polled consider 57 as old. Dayum. My back hurts.

It's all relative, to a 73 yr old, 57 is young, 90 is old

I filleted 21 fish a little while ago and the pain between my shoulder blades is terrible. I'll be 63 in just under a month in I live that long.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Fishing gets me in the same spot.

Yep, except I'm 56 and the body says I'm 76 most days. I have gotten smart though. Now when I look at something and wonder if I can pick it up, I just yell my son's name and let him do it with his 20 YOA back and muscles. He's tough on the grocery bill but it sure is nice having him around.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I thought I was so tough 25 to 40 yrs ago. You don’t reall y get tough till you wake up with a hip hurting so much you can’t sleep in any position. It takes at least an hour and maybe two to remember what it was you do to hurt it. Finally it dawns on you two days ago you were pulling on something and you felt a little hitch in your hip when you gave it a little more azz to get it rolling. That little hitch comes back a couple of days later and takes nearly a week to stop hurting. Not to mention the general old knee, shoulder, or neck joint grinding and popping like a sheet of bubble wrap when you rotate them. Broken fingered and toes from old sports or the bed post at 2 am. The young are pansies they just don’t know it.

I crawled around in three pretty big oak trees one day this week for about 8 1/2hrs. I havent been up a tree for that long in quite a while. I was so sore when I went to bed that I couldnt go to sleep. Nice to know I can still do it when I have to but it sure did hurt.

56 here and changed a clutch last weekend in the garage on jackstands. That getting up and down from the floor sucks. Sure makes you think ahead of what you need before you go climb underneath.
