How bad did y’all get hit?

I saw on Facebook post from them that 60% of the members are without power. Lots of trees and lines down according to my peoples.

That's who our power is thru at our camp in Troy. It's still out as far as I know, must've been some pretty good storms roll thru there.

Pretty much all the rural areas in SE Al are served by them. There are a lot of rural lines down throughout the region.

I’ve been out since around 11 last night and I’d say by looking at the numbers it’s close to 75%.

We get electricity through them, and are some of the lucky ones to have it back on. Roughly half the system is still without power.

Contract line cews from Huntsville are headed south somewhere. They also sent a few to Chattanooga.

We’re served by South Alabama Electric. Lost power last night about 11:00 pm. Got it back about 3:30 this afternoon. I appreciate what y’all boys do. I always thought I’d wind up in that line of work but took a different route. I’m very blessed with an awesome paying job that I enjoy in broadcast engineering, but there’s still a part of me that wishes I was with the power company.
