Heck yeah!

Hopefully things can get better as far as folks working and businesses opening but I dont know how they can and not expect a lot of deaths. Its going to be a tough balance.

By the way those saying this was no worse then the flu, TODAY we actually passed the 2018/2019 Flu deaths for a YEAR which was 34,400 influenza related deaths.

There are that many Corona Virus deaths now, 34,400 in just 1 1/2 months. And we havent reached the peak yet.

Very real virus, people are really dying and I think its going to be a lot worse before it gets better.

You guys all stay safe and hopefully this will pass and we can all get back to work.

I dont think anybody has said it wasnt real. Its as real as 1000 other health risks and dangere we humans deal with every day of our lives as we go about our daily business. Some have said it was manufactured, which is very possible. Some have said the govt has overreacted, considering they were reacting to a number over 4x higher than what is actually going on, they did overreact. Some have said the numbers and other information given to us are mostly lies, by your own admission alot of it is lies. But not real, I dont remember anyone saying that. If you choose to be afraid of this virus and change your whole life based off of that fear, go ahead. Some of the people, you are implying believe this virus isnt real, have chosen to go on about their lives, in spite of this, yet another danger. Its a matter of opinion and yours is no more valid than the next guys. We all have beliefs and opinions and live our lives to the best of our abilities according to those beliefs. Alot of us are going about our lives as normal, as much as theyll let us. Some of you are hiding and taking all the precautions the govt has suggested. So far what are the results? Im healthy and wuhan free, youre healthy and wuhan free. So whos right here?

Funny I workout with quite a few doctors, nurses and spouses of doctors and nurses and as of today only one has acted like this was the plague of all plagues. The rest are still living life to the fullest and still working out as a group contrary to CDC recommendations. I know one doctor that got sick a week ago so them and their family self quarantined until the test came back negative, but other than that none have been sick recently nor do they wear masks or gloves away from work. Now they all do agree that once contracted it is worse than the flu and I think everyone can agree with that but i don't think we will ever agree on what the government should or shouldn't have done.

Is all you do argue on here with everyone and pick apart peoples post trying to find something to argue about? Try hunting or fishing. The seasons are open OK?

Yes I believe a lot of this is hype and I dont trust the numbers but guess what? The REALITY is the situation at hand. Not the one youd IDEALLY want but its the REALITY of the current situation. I DEAL with reality..not deny it..

And who is scared? I went through 6 counties yesterday..Hunted in Marion Cty..shot a big gobbler in the AM...then drove to Cullman county..took the boat out to keep it going..ran a couple down rigger lines trolling for stripers. Talked to a bunch of other boaters and friends out fishing..and neighbors. Then I drove to Lawrence Cty and checked my land in Trinity, then went home.

Im making the BEST of the current situation and the reality of it. Definitely not going to whine about it non stop like a little Biotch.

You must be the one hiding in your house. You post NON stop about the virus. 20 to 25 times a day..every hour ..from morning until after 3 AM some days. NO LIFER mean anything to you kid?

My life hasnt changed one dam bit other then we are taking a two to 3 week vacation from work..mainly because 75% of my workers WANT to or need to as a couple have nurses for wives and have to stay home to take care of kids not in school.

We adjusted our schedules accordingly and are all looking as this as our yearly vacation time. Im not in charge of whats open...and neither are you. You incessant WHINING on here isnt going to change anything either.

Going to the gym is out as its closed but we have a big home gym set up so really..Im NOT doing anything different AT ALL.

The shutdown was 2 weeks ago...it started Sunday March 4th. You all are acting like you cant do anything, going to lose your house and business over 2 weeks off so far? WOW is all i can say. Things are going to open back up in the next week or so. Give it rest OK.

If trump got on tv today with a couple of his paid drs and said "all clear", they would go about their business. Whats going on is wrong. I doubt im gona shut up about it. Funny I had a similar conversation on my front porch 3 weeks ago with someone from the medical field who's spouse is a doctor, children are also in the medical field, some family are working on the Covid floor. They're also friends with all the medical personnel working the Covid floor. Actually first time I'd heard of the genetic side of things cause a family member was actually studying that aspect.

I asked one simply question.
Is this being overplayed? 50/50 was the answer, just like everyone else the doctors they knew were along those same lines, split.

I've personally heard how the race, health, age and several other possible ties to how one responds to the virus. It's not a one size fits all aspect. That's why all of the NEW findings almost on a daily report.

My Dad was on the Covid floor, I actually spoke in person with the Doctor over the Covid floor several times. He described what happens etc... when one has Covid. Said my Dad did not have Covid but had to wait on the test results. He called and we talked when dad was negative, he also called to say sorry to hear of dasd's passing and could not understand why he died. Was impressed with Dad's mental state, sharp as a tack for any age.

I talked to a friend when dad passed away, we're best of friends, he's a Veterinarian. Yes animal Doc however he has several friends that are working with Covid patients in NY. Shan described the same things as to how cells break down, enzymes build and break down saying that the bodies response to the virus is what is so bad. It's not like the Flu in how the body responds that is the difference.
Covid Lungs have a distinct appearance as if broken glass is in the lungs. Xrays or MRI will show this.

My wife works with numerous medical folks, she actually runs a place that has Docs and nurses in a different capacity. They're under protocols because of the virus and have numerous daily conversations about Covid and patients.

With all that being said, I still at that time thought it was being overplayed.

Then my wife was exposed repetitively and directly!

That's when things began to change for me, that person passed away. Our circle's mentality changed a bit.

I've never once advocated for shutting down anything, I have stated it worked in China. If not explain how the spread in China was stopped.

Statistically one can make any case they want to. Yes one can make the case using Stats, that this is just a little bit worse than the flu.

I don't wear gloves except the few time I've greased equipment and tractors. I haven't worn a mask since the last prescribed burn. I still go as I always have. I have 3 of the 4 bad medical issues to have they say. I've had upper respiratory issues (walking pneumonia) since the first of December. Won't go away even after 3 rounds of shots an antibiotics.
My wife keeps being told to wear a mask at work, coworkers keep bringing her some, she refuses.


Like what's being said repetively, it makes no sense to have certain businesses open while others are closed. What is happening to supply chains is absolutely terrible. businesses will be changed by this.

I'd bet money the Gov is following certain protocols that were established many years ago. That's how gov works.
My wife had to dust off their books on what the legal and proper response had to be once all this began.
