Took out a new climber and forgot the rope to pull up my bow.I did have a bungee cord so I just strapped it to the front of the climber and up the tree I went.

Forgot my release more than once, forgot the TP just once, gotta set priorities!

I bought an ATV to get to my hunting area, now half the fun of hunting is the ride in and out.

I used to get interrupted by the mid hunt shat attack, but now I make it a point to drop the kids off at the pool before I leave camp. Nothing worse than having to drop trow in the middle of a good hunt! But the TP is always in the pack just in case.

And I too have a second release in the pack. It's great to have in case you drop it from the stand too.

I am completely opposite. I don't know if something about nature or the walk to stand that gets things moving. But I have literally had to drop my drawers and unload from the tree cause it has hit me so quick. Hell, maybe it just my age or IBS, either way, I know I quit drinking coffee in the morning before I hunt.

Drove an hour and a half to the hunting club went to unlock the gate and realized I had left the key to my ranger at the house.

This hasn't happened in a long time but after a Sunday evening hunt, I laid my bow beside my trk and loaded everything else up, BUT MY BOW and drove off knowing my wife would be mad at me for getting home late.

Anyway, didn't realize that I didn't have my bow until the next Saturday morning. I went back to where I'd parked my trk and there it was!

Also, I have climbed up in my stand and had been settled for an hour before I realized that I'd never pulled my bow up! laugh

Sometimes I just shake my head at the stupid things I do!
