HK. I'm biased against kahrs because kahrs owner is Justin Moon son of the "rev" sun Yung moon who cased a pile of heartbreak in the 1970s with his "church".

Depends on the HK.

Most, if not all, HK magazines are proprietary and are higher than giraffe nookie. I sold an HK45 that I really liked for that reason.

Whoever designed the grips on the VP9s need firing, cause they resemble a highpoint 😬

Never shot an HK, but I have a Kahr CM9 that I love.

I guess it comes down to going with my first choice, which I didn't mention in the OP, of the Sig 226 Elite or the HK VP9

My pick would be the Sig. Besides that i heard you need to go to armours school to take that VP9 all the way down 😀 But seriously, do you want the sa/da or a striker fired?

Have a KARH CM9. Was a gift, but like the gun and would buy it anyway.

Any HK over a kahr.not saying I wouldn't own another kahr but they are more flawed than HK pistols.HK usually have very good triggers also

Are you using this for cc? Look at the HK p2000 or p2000sk - the p30sk ----- Full size - USP. p30L or p30 I am not the fan of a Vp9. I do have a p2000sk in 357 sig that shoots and carries very well.

Have Kahrs in 40 CW and PM. The PM is def more accurate.

HK - have had three Kahrs. Great guns, long smooth trigger. Problem was the frame stretched on one causing the rails to bind with the slide. This was the PM Nine. Have a HK P30 and absolutely love it. SA/DA, double stack, paddle magazine release, night sights, and hammer fired. Its my EDC in a sticky holster carried center of back, feeds, fires and ejects anything you can get into its magazine. I'm more accurate with some of my other handguns but this one is the best overall. I keep a nasty police trade in G19 in a tool bag as a back up. It would be my next choice.

If you are a revolver guy, maybe the Kahr. They have very long reset and can get you killed if you don’t re-train yourself if you are used to other semi-autos.

Also depends on whether you are a striker or DA/SA kind person. I rather a DA/SA from Sig, HK, PX4, and such

I had a Kahr and you are right. Worst trigger Ive ever tried.

I carry a USP compact 9 regularly. Highly prefer HK quality to most.
