Fall/winter turkey patterns are usually different than spring patterns. I've seen them spend months on one piece of property and totally vacate the area in spring. Don't always count on hunting turkeys were you saw them in deer season.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

May be that you stopped feeding and they left, doesn’t always mean the neighbors are doing wrong just because things aren’t perfect in your area

Spent half the morning chasing a what I thought was a gobbler. Ended by being a dang super Jake....found another bird and set up on em and the forester came rolling through and busted up the game. I think I've lost 10# in 4 days. Hey, they act like a man, they die like a man!

I've killed a few loudmouth Jakes. When he's acting like an alpha and then decides to just peek over that log or terrace, his day is done. I just need to see the white baseball and it's over.

I have been going, I can see the turkeys. On The neighbors pastures. But yet to hear anything gobbling. Starting to wonder if The turkeys I Saw all deer season are being baited off The land I hunt. They move around for sure. My uncle has the property above where I hunt. Between deer and turkey seasons the turkeys congregate up there in his arrowleaf clover field. Then around the first couple weeks of march theyll start coming down the hill alot more regular. During turkey season ill see more than he does. They are definately on the move right now.
