I finally broke down and bought one of those toy guns last night.

I took it to the farm today and at 30 yards I wasn’t as excited as I’d hoped to be. It was my first experience with TSS in any gauge gun. It wasn't nearly as tight as I’d hoped. I counted 46 pellets in the head/neck area. I’m sure it will kill one but I’d hoped for a tighter pattern.

BGH, I’ve got a mossburg pump 410 that i patterned yesterday. No added choke just factory full barrel. I got 54 pellets at 42 yards. I’ll probably limit it to 35 or so, if I decide to hunt with it.

Shot mine for the First time yesterday. It's not a 3 1/2 12 gauge by any means but I put over 200 in a 10" circle at 30 yards. It's not bad for what it is. It will kill a turkey.

I sighted in my boys and I put about 170 in 10", and nearly 60 from waddles to top of head. I was actually impressed with mine.

That's using the factory choke that came with it.

BGH, that 40+ pellets actually in the head and neck? How many were around the head/neck? I say that’s a nice tight pattern if there were 46 pellets on the head/neck.

My thoughts also. Count them that’s in a 10” circle

Yes that was 40+ in just the head/neck at 33 yards. Like I said it will certainly kill one at 30 yards but from some of the pics I’ve seen on the interwebs some folks have gotten much better results.

Might not be too bad of a thing if a kid is shooting it. Tighter pattern = less forgiveness. It only takes one pellet to kill him.

Count a 10 inch circle and report back a number. Was it 13/16 oz of 9s?

46? My goodness, don't complain, that will lay him down in an instant. I don't shoot at the head anyway, I shoot lower down in the area just above the but of the wing.
