Seems like the evolution from hard core hunter to camp cook is a common theme. Happened in ours as well. We also have some guys that came to 3 or 4 workdays and never sat in a stand this year. Make no mistake though. Our camp cook is a big buck killer when he wants to be. He’s got an impressive trophy room. But kind of like what you are saying I think. He’s at the point where he just enjoys camp and would rather see someone else get a deer
