Turkey season has come in the 15th of March my entire adult 56 y/o life, not the 20th, and opening day of gun deer season comes in the Saturday before Thanksgiving, not Friday. I do remember it used to come in on a certain date, back in the day, but they moved it to Saturday because so many kids were missing school. For my area turkey is the 21st of March.

I'm 51 and I clearly remember the Friday opener of deer season and the March 20 turkey season.
I also remember the fall turkey season.
