Had assistance from a panga or 2 the entire time and spent the tail end of the fight in the panga fighting it not in the yak any more. The video and article are definitely click bait.

Wasn't even a huge king and it took me right at 11 minutes to bring him alongside the Yak. I had a friend of a friend catch a small sail last summer, but I can't imagine a marlin.... You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?
