My season.............. Pretty much ended when I fell on November 20th, first year I have not killed a deer in probably 25 years. I am too blessed to have not been paralyzed or crippled when I fell to think that killing a deer defines my season. God has been faithful throughout my recovery and I got to hunt twice after the accident, once in early January and once the last week. It gave me a new perspective and appreciation for just being able to go. We all hunt for different reasons, some hunt to kill deer, some hunt to kill big bucks, some hunt for the camp/camaraderie experience, some hunt for the joy of being outdoors. Lord willing, I'm sure I'll be back after em next fall, just not sure that I'll be doing it from 20 feet up!
