About tired of hearing about all the programs and help blacks can get but my son cant because hes white. About tired of hearing about all the places blacks can go but I cant because im white, clubs I cant be in because im white. Biggest bunch of hypocrites on this planet.

Nothing new. I have an uncle that just retired that struggled to make a living most of his life. If you're very old and from NW Alabama, you remember how the Reynold's plants carried the Shoals area for decades. When they had openings, the line to apply was always long. When he applied, his father and oldest brother had each been there over 30 years and another brother had been there over 20. They had 3 openings and over 3,000 applicants. The HR manager told him he scored the second highest on their test, but they were told they had to hire a black, a white woman and a veteran. He was none of the above. That was in the late 70's or early 80's.

Was told the same thing "I'd love to hire you, but I have to hire a black".

And don't get me started about trying to get assistance for going to college.
Apparently I didn't meet the color standards because it sure wasn't because
we made too much money.

in highschool i got sent to the office because I sighed and laid my head on the desk at about the 5th MLK video we were made to watch within a week by a black teacher they asked me if i had a problem participating in black history month i said ill participate in black history month when everyone participates in white history month I got a pass to not attend that class for a week makes me sick to my stomach that we have a whole month dedicated to praise one race of people but another is vilified for everything

It just seems to me that a group who is so concerned with everything being fair would be concerned with everything being fair.

Ya'll are exactly right. When I was laid off I tested for a maintenance job. I tested great. Got told by someone who works there that I was middle aged and white is why i didn't get the job. Pissed me off. But good came out of it. They are about to shut the doors and I'm not working there. Guess middle age and white is the new mino.

Anytime you fill out an application always check the "black" box. They have to prove your not black

A friend at works son was made to do a black history paper. Well he helped him write it.......it was on Bill Cosby. All about the court case and abuse. teacher was not happy

Walked in the break room this morning at work and there set one of those tripod ezel looking things with some black history month chit on it with a big ass poster of some black dude and what all he'd done and whatnot. I bet there is another poster of someone else on it tomorrow. I asked when we were gonna celebrate white history.

I celebrate white history everyday. With all that privilege I have it’s easy. I get my ass up and go to work.

I'll be glad when we quit looking (and labeling) at skin color, and start looking at what good a man/woman does.

This is a good part of my complaint. They complain because they were treated different because of the color of their skin, then they set aside a month to celebrate the achievements of people with their colored skin. That is the definition of hypocrisy. But you are 100% correct, if we would quit talking about colors, we would all get along alot better.

They don't want to quit talking about it to give us getting along a try.

That's it in one sentence . Race baiters , race hustlers won't have it. They'd be out of a job.
