A deer was already in the field but walked off before legal light. Good lord blessed me with a buck and doe yesterday evening, would like 1 more for the freezer.

I just finished a peanut/banana sandwich. Saw one doe and a skunk so far. I guess ill be here till the rain stops anyhow, I dont feel like getting wet. Feeding chart says today is one of them "best" days for hunting. I cant ever remember one of them days being worth a crap. I might need to post a copy of that chart on my feeder

Hoping for a little luck to take one with my grand dads old Weatherby. Sure would like to be able to tell him I did while he’s still with us. Took a bear and 6x6 bull last year and hope to add a whitetail.

Too thick to get a shot and he was gone just as fast as I saw him. Gonna sit and watch this cut for a few then slip across top and back down by lunch. Rain stopped here just a few minutes ago.
