I don't know how the old bridges on Old 431 still are standing. I think I saw a newscast on them being replaced starting this year. Would be great if so. That road is barely wide enough for two vehicles, the bridges aren't, and it's crazy how the engineering has held up for so many decades with all the water that flows through there. Really a true 'they don't make 'em like they used to" kind of thing. The river did come up super fast.. No fishing for me this weekend It comes up quickly around here after a hard rain, but I don't remember the last time it flooded the fields so quickly in one day. The Flint got hit hard on the upper end and rolled through.
