Joe ive never had headaches to speak of. If I ever did get one it wasnt bad and if I could go to sleep it would go away. Sleeping has been one of the times this headache hurts worse, itll wake me up. Sleep apnea? Also considered this, pretty sure ive got it. My blood pressure is the highest(bottom number, usually high 90s. The rest of the time its between 79-90) when I wake up each morning. I do not sleep well on my back and I dont think I can sleep with a mask on my face so this is an avenue id prefer not to go down. I have been reading about things that help sleep apnea without the machine. Im about to try some of them. If sleep apnea, your body is starved of O2 and CO2 builds up in your blood and can cause headaches. Took me 8 years to be able to use the mask, which was beyond terrible. I’m the exception to the rule though. Most feel like a new person on day 1 with a CPAP. I’m curious if another treatment is out there, but so far everything has been a gimmick. I sleep like a baby with the CPAP now though.

Don't worry about the mask. You'll get use to it. I've been on a CPAP for over 15 years. IMO if there was a non-CPAP device that worked, CPAP's would be obsolete.

Have you cut out caffeine all the sudden on your new diet? Have not cut out caffeine all together but I quit the mtn dews again. I drink tea at home but my wife cut the sugar in half. Trying to stay off the soft drinks unless we go out to eat. Im not going to extremes here. My diet was not terrible to begin with, just needed tweaking a little.

Would that be an indication that I may not have it? Does a person with sleep apnea always or usually have high co2 levels. If it matters, I had this blood work done in the evening, would it be different if done first thing in the morning for a person with sleep apnea?

Do you snore at night? If so, you probably have sleep apnea...to diagnose, you need a sleep study...I would bring these things up to your doctor. I wouldn’t focus on the CO2 retention or lab values...let the sleep study diagnose...your headaches seem to be multifactorial with all the changes going on such as new diet, hypertension, possible sleep apnea...I would work hand in hand with your doctor but #1 way to help yourself is lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise which could have significant effects to your overall health

Higher end cbd oil may help? First bottle i got did. Idk if it was just snake oil and my brain thought it helped or not, but the first bottle i used seemed to work. Next bottle, not so much.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
