Couple of years ago, my wife sent me a text with the two pics below. She then called me at work, all hysterical and crying. She said that as she was on her way home from work at Citronelle High School that afternoon, the car in front of her swerved to miss something in the road, but hit it and it was bouncing in the road. She tried to dodge it, but there was a vehicle coming from the other direction. She said she felt a thump on the bottom of her Tahoe, then felt like something had hit her hip. When she got home to get out of the Tahoe, she felt something against her hip/butt and is was this metal bar. I couldn't tell what it was from the pics but after I got home I realized that it was a mud flap hanger from a semi-truck. When she ran over it, it punched a hole in the floor of her Tahoe, missing the fuel lines and brake lines by about 1/2". It came up through the floor, busted the plastic off the side of the seat, then hit her hip/butt hard enough to bruise.
