I haven't done much in Alabama except for 2 nights in the Mobile Tennesaw delta. Horrible trip because of weather and multiple scouts on the trip got a stomach bug. Otherwise it was a really good trip. https://www.alabamacanoetrails.com/bartram Buffalo River in Arkansas is a great trip for overnight canoe camping. I've done several trips in the 80s and 90s and early 2000s, none lately though. Tons of Scout troops do this trip from multiple sections of the River. I'd highly recommend it. https://www.buffaloriveroutfitters.com/float-trips/multi-day-float-trips
