decent land, the time to go and limiting the pressure. All three I’m lacking at this time unfortunately.

There's a lot to be said for staying out of the area until conditions are right.
Now that I have an opportunity to go hunting whenever I want, I try to wait for the right time.
Unpressured deer are easier (and more enjoyable) to hunt.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

well if you could just hunt every day at the last 30 minutes of daylight you would only have 15hrs of hunting time a month and be more successful than someone that just hunted 2 days nonstop

Bingo! I've been staying out of my good spots all year waiting on the last 3 weeks of season. I'll be finishing up a bathroom remodel within the week and I'll be off until the season ends. Can't wait ! Looks like a big cold front will be moving in next weekend.. Just in time.

This is the same as the other thread. Ain't no secret to killing big deer. You have to have big deer to kill and you have to hunt. The more big deer you have and the more you hunt the greater the chance you will cross paths. It is really that simple.

If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.
