It all hinged on the doctors report he got last Friday. He’ll be ready and get paid. He'll get paid even if he is not ready so why not make millions while you heal and learn the team's system?
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I’m a bama fan but I’m glad he’s gone. He’s a great quarterback but he chokes in big games in my opinion. He did great when he relieved Jalen but every other big game he chokes. And he’s way to fragile. Agreed seems like he flops in the big games.

Yep, he flops. He only won one national championship.

This^^^ Technically the whole point of getting a scholarship to a college is so you can get a degree and get a job making good money.... Well if you basically get a job offer while in college to make more money than any of your fellow classmates will ever make, it seems to be to be a no brainer to take the job. Simple as that.

Just saw on Cowherd that he is hearing a bunch of teams are looking to trade up to get Tua at number 2. Looks like the injury hasn't hurt his stock at all.

Just saw on Cowherd that he is hearing a bunch of teams are looking to trade up to get Tua at number 2. Looks like the injury hasn't hurt his stock at all. According to [a retired NFL scout], every injury [Tua] has had has been a freak thing....ankles getting rolled up on, having 2 guys fall on him and landing weirdly causing a hip to dislocate, etc. It's not like he was just running and pulled up lame with an injury. These have all been common injuries that happen to players all the time, he's just been unfortunate enough to have them all happen to him. If you want to make the argument that he hangs onto the ball too long or needs to learn more when to slide, then that's a different discussion.
But, according to this guy (who would know better than 99.99% of people speculating, including the various media idiots on TV), assuming Tua makes a complete recovery, none of his injury history will hurt his NFL prospects.

He’s the worst QB Bama has ever had. He’s so bad, he made the defense suck. Don’t believe me? Ask the bammers a few posts up.
