They also have a junior license that has to be purchased for youth age 13 to 16 that’s around $42 per year.
FORTY TWO dollars for youth age 13-16? Alabama's resident annual all-game license is $27.75. IMO that's a damned joke to charge a kid age 13-16 that much to hunt. I paid $162 for just a resident hunting license here in TN that includes the WMA permit. I remember only paying $150 for a TN non resident license in the late 90's. I've always been appreciative of the low license fees here even with my Lifetime license. I'm also surprised the annual resident hunting and fishing license costs are not at least double or almost double what they are now.
