No way a buck of that magnitude came from Jackson county. Probably a Tennessee gene deer that swam down stream in the river some thirty miles away. It could've been a native-gene riverside buck that stayed in the area all these years and didn't kowtow with those line-crossing, roaming Tennessee mountain bucks!

Bet this gets real interesting. Saw it on FB with multiple folks posting live pics of the deer around the nuclear plant. Not sure if he killed it legally or not but with pics like that coming out I’m sure there will be thorough investigation into it. I would say they are turning every pebble over

I would say they are turning every pebble over Lot of jealous people out there in the deer hunting world (not saying you two posters above, just in general) . I always give a presumption of a legal and ethical deer kill. And when I see a buck like that it gives me inspiration and motivates me to hunt smarter and harder.

Am I missing something that’s two different deer in the pics Well I guess it’s the way the rack is formed that makes it look that way.

Why is it always skinny dudes that we hear about that kill really nice bucks? Us bigguns need some deer hunting inspiration. I hope a three hunert pound feller wins this contest.

So I’ll ask the question then.... why cut the head off if it was legal? Because of coyote damage as he claimed? Said he shot it out of a boat and couldn’t find it?.......hmmmmm Shot it out of a boat? Mmmm Hmmm....
