Can anyone recommend a "quality" magazine for this rifle. Reason being is that I'm not having any luck with both their standard 10 rd rotaries. I've bought multiple factory mags and none have worked worth a damn. They are all cheaply made plastics. I wonder if a steel quality is available?

I have never had a problem out of the stock 10 rounders. I cannot say the same for any other magazine. What type of issues are you having.

If you have a problem with stock....then you have a big problem. Send the gun to Ruger.

Usually it’s the aftermarket mags that give a problem, I’d send it to ruger

The bullets getting stuck inside the mags. Nothing wrong w/feeding and the gun itself, it's the magazines getting bound up.

I've got several 10 round rotary mags and never had a problem with any of them.
I have a Butler Creek 30 round banana mag that sometimes doesn't lock in correctly.

Try taking the mags apart and cleaning them. I have a couple that tend to get jammed up about the 7th or 8th round. I keep meaning to clean them up, but when I have time, I don't think about it. When I think about it, I don't have the time.

Your magazine is likley binding on the wood on your stock, causing this problem.
Take it to a gun smith are send it back to Ruger. I have several 10/22 and many 10 round Magazines
I have had minor problems, getting dirty and needed to be cleaned.

I’ve had probs with my 10 round factory rotary magazine...but I’ve shot prob 25 bricks through it. I got some of the factory 25 round mags and prob went away...then later bought another 10-22, and it ran fine with that 10 round Mag.
My 10 round magazine was filthy, and crudded up with waxy old cheap ammo.

If you're shooting cheap ammo, it could be the problem. I've shot so many rounds through mine it's crazy and only have had ejection problems with the cheap ammo.

Lots of videos on YouTube on how to take them apart to clean and tune them. Tandemkross sells a tool that makes this process easier. I’ve had quite a few new ones that wouldn’t run right until I adjusted the tension.

I had a 10/22 , the magaizne was binding in the magazine well on the stock, the Mag. was not seating properly.
Used some sand paper and a fine file, removed some wood from Mag. well. it worked just fine
