For those of you that own the older Verizon 3G Covert Blackhawk game cameras do not deactivate them from your account. You can suspend them but do not deactivate. Once they are deactivated they can not be added back to your account. I have recently learned that Verizon will continue to support 3G through 2020. I confirmed with covert this morning that this is the case and those cameras will still be supported and operational. You will not find this information posted anywhere by Covert because that want to sell the 4g cameras. However this is pretty sorry of them in my opinion to not send out this information to their customers. They were quick to email out the information that 3g service would be discontinued starting January 1, 2020. I have upgraded most of wireless cameras this year thinking I was gonna lose the my service on the 5 older 3G cameras I own. Looks like I’ll have them through 2020.
