I ain't making factual statements (because I don't know), but I've gotta assume the doe inputs at least 50% of the genes? (I've heard all my life the doe has MORE input than the buck, that some breeders will pay more for dames than sires)

Furthermore, consider a "local" deer herd, I'm sure they're all to some extent interrelated. So unless you scorch the earth and wipe the whole herd gone, does your one "cull buck" kill even blip the radar???
