If a deer tasted like beef I would be unemployed. The only way that deer meat has a taste is when it’s full of smoking mirrors. Rather it be cream cheese, bacon wrapped, stuffed with Juan’s jalapeños peppers or marinated for days with some sauce full of salt. A fresh backstrap with just a little olive oil and sea salt and a red hot grill tastes better to me than a $40 steak. I like steak too but I guess I’m one of the few people that actually prefers the taste of venison over beef.
