chiropractor, I get what they call a hot disc about twice a year i literally can hardly walk when it happens and it takes nearly a wrek to go away on its on i get a pain down my leg like a pulled hamstring I can crawl into the chiropractor and walk out in 15 minutes. what you described happening is almost exactly what causes mine everytime theyll xray to be sure. but once he loosens up the muscles and makes that adjustment its like it never happened except for being a little sore in the muscle but nothing compared to original pain level. I dont have "hot disc" but know exactly what you're talking about. Have you tried an inversion table? Works wonders for me. i have tried one and would like one for myself i hung in one a few minutes and relaxed was able to pop almost every vertebrae i my back with a few twists I always give other things priority though or id have one
