It a gorgeous clear morning in Kansas for the opening day of their rifle season. Upper20’s to start the day so far only blue jays and squirrels. Wishi knee how to post photos.

Good luck! I am starting to plan a rifle hunt to Kansas. Some very big deer back on food sources there after the rut.

Awesome, which part? My dad lives in Pratt every year for the entire bird season.

What part of the state are you hunting? I was supposed to be there in the SE part of the state. Gotta have a knee cut out so I'm eating this years tags.

Make sure to ask Tony to cut the crust off of your sandwich and cut them into four pieces.

That's some pretty country through there. I've come home that way a few times.

Well my buddy came through! Several guys in camp took deer that would have been descent back home but NOT what we have come to expect in Kansas. Well my buddy that I talked into coming with me this year laid the smack down on his best deer ever! I couldn’t have been more excited if I had taken the deer myself! A stud 11 pt with tons of character! We rough scored it at 156. Someone teach me how to post photos PLEASE!

Fantastic buck! Congrats!
