I just want it to be legal if it’s blaze orange. 144sq”
Hat does NOT have to be 144 sq in. Must be of solid color (including the bill) and can only have a small logo on it. Has anyone ever seen a ticket written for a blaze orange hat with a different colored bill? Seriously. In my assessment bill color makes zero difference because a toboggan doesn't have a bill. Bill isn't visible from afar anyway, which is the entire point of the blaze orange requirements...to be visible for safety.
