I think there's a big difference in something intended to be satire, and something (like Achy Breaky Heart) that was intended to be a serious attempt at music... ^^^ to THIS point, i do get that certain songs were a "sign of the times"; in the 1990's, a song from the 1950's would be considered cheesy ... HOWEVER ... the 2 songs i nominated were cheesy as hell EVEN IN THEIR DAY (aka a "serious attempt at music") ...
