Yea pac12 is out. So if UGA were to beat LSU in a close one you’d see those 2 in the playoffs even if bammer beats au. I don't even think it would have to be a close one...if UGA beats LSU, they both get in. LSU won't fall past #4. If LSU beats UGA, and Bama beats Auburn, it's going to be tough putting anyone in over Bama, IMO. Oklahoma? Naw. Bad loss, and several struggle wins in what's also a pretty trash conference. Baylor is the only other Power 5 with only one loss, and that's a big ole "naw", too.

Just cause bammer wins doesn’t mean they just walk in the CFP. No they don’t. LSU beating UGA would help. Utah and Oklahoma losing also. Guys I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a championship run. In my opinion we don’t have the defense for it and that was obvious against LSU. Plus there were plenty of signs all season against everybody but Western Carolina. Think about UT having an 8 minute scoring just to mention one. Yes I would love to get the opportunity and I hope it happens. You don’t know if you don’t play. Oklahoma is out. Now youve got to decide between bama and utah. Come on now. Who in the heck is utah? You're wrong about that. I think Oklahoma has the best chance to get in if they win out. Utah, Baylor, and Minnesota all control their own destiny too IMO. Yall talking about playing LSU tight, do you think yall think you could play them tight with Jones? That's the reality now, and what the committee has to take into consideration. Bammer better beat the brakes off of Auburn if they want a shot in the playoffs

Actually, nothing could be further from the truth. The committee has said over and over again that they do not project. Body of work is what they look at. They won't have to project. Jones has a 2 week audition to prove he can maintain Tuas level of play. Week 1 was against a high school team, so week 2 is really the only true test.

This also shows a 1 loss Utah in over LSU...not buying it. Several scenarios I ran through were nothing like what we would know the committee to do. Cool post otherwise, though.

This same week last year, they had Michigan in the playoffs, and OU at 6th. The following week (the week before the conference championship games), they had Ohio State at #4. They're no more of an expert at GUESSING who will be in than I am, it appears.

Just for fun, I looked at 2017. After the loss to Auburn, that rag website had Bama at #7.
After the conference championship games, they had Bama at #5. They had 2 loss Ohio State in at #4, who had a 2 td home loss to OU, and a 31 point loss to Iowa.
LOL
It appears that website completely sucks at picking all but the most obvious teams to get in.
