Yes. Also, if I remember correctly, by law the only one who can arrest a county sheriff is the coroner. Don't think that is followed though.

Technically, the only person in a county that can arrest a sheriff is the Coroner. We had a crusty old coroner that used to like to remind us of that and how powerful he was. One day when he was spouting off about this, I asked him that made me since I could arrest him? He didn't like me much after that.

Coroner becomes temporary sheriff until the governor appoints an official sheriff. Then there will an election for sheriff when regular elections take place.

It just pizzes me off that a good man like Big John, who served his country in the Marines, then served his home county with honor, had his life taken by a worthless POS punk because he didn't want to turn down his stereo. There is no punishment which is allowed by law that is good enough for this trash. May he burn in Hell for eternity.

It doesnt make any sense, but this is also an example of why LEO's get accused of being overly paranoid. Bad things like this can happen at a moments without warning.

I think a large percentage of our youth can not handle correction. Thank goodness all of them don't commit murder. I think this is also a factor in the uptick of teen suicide.

There are also plenty of security camera's at that store. I am sure they are being fully documented as we speak.

There is certainly a lot of cultural, sociological and yes spiritual dimensions and realities to this senseless killing.
