I'm beginning to think that Game Check represents where most hunters are, not necessarily where most deer are. There's just no way that Jackson has that much deer density.
I'd probably have to choose something in that Montgomery to Selma path. this. ^^^ I certainly wouldn't include Clarke in a top 10 list of hunting counties in Alabama for deer. But I would include it in a top 5 list of people hunting for deer.

The best hunting in the worst county is way better that the worst hunting in the best county. There's around 500 acres of state park land in Orange Beach i would love to get my hands on.

By far the best genetics for antler is north of I20. North of I20 and west of 65 has some areas that can produce well above 150” deer. No they don’t. You meant south of I20 and west.
