BTW, just like Trotman, I already know what is going to happen with Gus, but I won’t tell y’all yet because either way I want to be able to come back and say “I knew that was going to happen”. When the time comes I will challenge y’all to prove me wrong.
That is all Trotman is doing.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

That is all Trotman is doing. So you don't think Charlie , who played at Auburn and who was with Auburn Radio Network for a long time, has better info than we do?

His proclamation does not give any credence to his statement. He may, and probably does, have better information than I have but there is no evidence of that and won’t be later either. It’s easy to make a statement that won’t be proven or disproven.

What all think now? Another year of being inconsistent even though he beat Bama? I said before the game that the outcome of the game should not matter. Fire his stupid azz.

Fortunately or unfortunately for Auburn it will matter, though. Not being condescending, but Gus more or less exceeded expectations this year by beating Bama. I’ve always thought that Auburn likes to see Bama lose more than themselves win. A possible 10 win season and victory over Bama isn’t getting him fired any time soon. Personally, now, I would like to see Gus gone. Which should be took as a compliment to the fambly for how he gets his team ready for Bama.

You're right, and that's why the program is wallowing in mediocrity. Yes, beating Bama matters more than beating other teams, but it should not be how we judge the success of a season. That's why the victory tonight feels hollow to me right now.
