**UPDATE**

Overall Eli had a good night last night. They want his ICP #, which is one of the main readings they’re tracking, to be 20 or below. All night it was in the teens, which was great. However, ICP reading hit 24 this morning. They’re going to chemically treat that increase in order to bring the number down.
The neurosurgeon came by and said that spikes in ICP are not unexpected for him over the next few days. The biggest time frame for swelling is 3-5 days after accident. He said that they’ll not be able to let him wake up for a few more days until the ICP #s are under control.

They have him under a paralytic so they aren’t able to see if he’s having seizures which could be causing the ICP spikes. They are going to add an EEG to him to monitor if he’s having seizures or not. If he is, they can treat that.

The neurosurgeon said Eli is tracking right where he anticipated. He reminded us it will be a long recovery but that at this stage he’s on track.

Specific prayers -
His swelling and pressure (measured by ICP) go to 20 or below - we’d love it in mid teens.
His body start to self regulate temperature.
The EEG to show normal brain activity.
Full and complete healing.
