You get caught will they fine you for not having a baiting permit or hunting in a baited area ?
Which is higher?

Seems to me be hard to fine you doing something that is now legal
My guess would be hunting without proper license

Pretty sure it said the fine would be the same as it has always been unless you pay the $15

It’s a BS law. Either make it legal or illegal. No strings. All we heard for years was how unhealthy corn was for the herd. Now that money is being made off of it, not a peep.

Corns not unhealthy for deer. Look at all of those big suckers that grow in the corn belt region. It's a money thing and more of the way it's fed. Needs to be broad cast. Just hook up the ol tractor and spreader. 2000lbs down the road beds every couple weeks.

The prepaid fine is the same for everyone, $15.00

Do you figure the permit money will exceed the money usually generated from baiting fines? I hadnt thought about that but if so I guess the state got the money without putting in the work huh?

Consider that nobody has enforced the baiting law, and most GWs wouldn't even get out of the truck to go look, then yes the permit money will far exceed the previous fines.

I understand the motivation for the additional matching funds for Pittman Robertson but the azzhats could have accomplished the same thing just raising the license cost and rolled the corn into it. That would have got 100% compliance from those who buy license anyways, of course Chuckie wouldn’t have got to charge kids that way. However they would have atleast appeared to have a little more class.

And just a few months ago the DCNR was scared of CWD which is said to be spread by congregating deer and the prions that go with the disease. Pure genius, ain't they?

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

But then they aren't going to get the $15 from landowners, lifetime holders, kids and senior citizens. Remember, Sykes will not have any entitlement hunting on his watch.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

its not legal without a permit you buy the permit to legally hunt over bait without it you are hunting over an illegally baited field what is so hard for everyone to understand about that just buy the dang permit most of yall spend that much in a week on scent sprays and body wash that dont even work. I am looking forward to seeing what a judge says when a 7 year old comes in his courtroom with a baiting ticket.
