The fellow im talking about uses solar power but is still hooked to Al power. I believe he told me he uses $3 worth of Al power per month. But he has to pay a minimum bill just to be hooked to them. All his power is solar and solar heats his water. It would be quite an adjustmen to most people. He used to didnt have ac because it used too much power. I noticed the other day he had a mini split now. He did tell me the installation price of the systems had come down alot because the panels are alot cheaper now.
