Just got home from WinnDixie and saw they had bone-in ribeye (or rib roast if you want it whole) for $4.99/lbs. Also had T-Bone for $3.99/lbs. Stocked up my freezer and these Ribeyes look great. No, they're not prime they're only choice but for the price it's hard to beat. Ribeye price is good through Wednesday and T-Bone pricing ends today. Just thought I'd share. I'm in Opelika so don't know if other stores are doing this, too.
I got some of this meat you mention. it isn't Choice, it's no-roll. it works well if you slow cook it in the crock pot for pot roast but it ain't chew-able for regular steaks. Costco meat for steaks is the only way to go.
