Remember, the committee is charged with placing the 4 best teams in the playoffs, not necessarily the 4 best W-L records. Alabama isn't one of those 4 teams, yet. This whole game was hyped on what Alabama has done the past ten years, not what they've done this year. Lost the only decent matchup they've had. I think they will end up making it. Those kids were tested in the first half, and came out and fought instead of rolling over. Showed some heart.
