Hank Williams sr Meh, if you’re under 55 and can emotionally appeal to Hank’s lyrics then you’re trying to hard. It was different music for a different time. Why would you have to be over 55 to understand the music of a guy that died at 29? Exactly. His lyrics is what sets his music apart, and what makes it timeless. It is just as relevant now as when he wrote them. If you don't like the twang, then fine I get that, but to knock on his song writing is heresy.
