There are very few bonds that a bail bondsman won't sign off on with just a promise of making payments. The reason for this is there is no risk for them. In all my time in LE, I can't remember a single time that a bondsman was made to pony up for his client not showing. I can remember one time they threatened they were going to start doing this and it shook the bonds people up, but then after a month or two, right back to normal.
