There's far to much dead space at the top. I'd move the search and Facebook buttons up next to location. Try and fit all the menu on one line. If you do that then your shark guard image can move up and be viable right away instead of being mostly cut off which'll cut down on the white background like FurFlyin said. I'd also try and clean up the logo on that image too, it looks like it's been enlarged too much. I'm also on a computer. Hope that's helpful! Out of interest how are you making the site?
