You have a much different experience with scrapes and rubs than I do.

I’ve hunted in Montgomery, Bullock, Lowndes, Monroe, Crenshaw and Choctaw counties for thirty five years and don’t remember seeing any scrapes or rubs until a couple of weeks before the rut. Maybe I just wasn’t looking hard enough I don’t know.

I was on a property in south Montgomery co the other day that was covered up with fresh scrapes. I think its probably something about mature bucks being in the population so it could be very site specific.

Two places, Montgomery and pike. Both had a substantial amount of scrape activity. Seen it in bullocks county as well.

It be's that way sometimes.
