I have taken a few kids hunting and I was surprised when they passed on small bucks. They said they wanted to wait for a trophy.
My daughter passed deer for 5 years before she shot her 9pt. After that she only want to shoot mature does or a buck bigger than the one she killed. I told her if that’s what she wants I’m good with it.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
