Shot distance: 20 yards Distance to recovery: 400+ yards (long story) Weather conditions: Cloudy, rainy. NW wind 10-15 mph. 55 degrees and dropping after cold front pushing through. Equipment used: Diamond Archery Edge SB-1. 50 lb, 28" draw. Easton "da'Torch" arrows. G5 Montec 100 gr broadhead. First ever archery kill. Walking in Halloween afternoon with my lock on, sticks, and pack on my back, came up on him and two other smaller bucks sparring around their beds.
