So far we have lost two straps and almost lost the metal siding vent that covers the back of the refrigerator hole. With a little bit of rigging hopefully we can roll on a little further. U from Lawrence county!! I know u know how to rig up junk!!

Well I finally got a signal. We scouted yesterday all day and started hunting today. We have seen a ton of deer scouting and seen several this morning while hunting. Just no shooters yet. This morning we was bumping deer all the way into the trees we climbed then 30 minutes later we started seeing deer. Biggest from a tree was a 105” eight point. These bucks are scent checking the the edge of these ridges about 20 yards from the top walking with the ridges. Hunters started rolling in yesterday and they all say this is the week. From everything I have seen and gathered, the small bucks 1 1/2 year olds are starting to chase. I haven’t seen a buck take a bite of anything yet. All noses to the ground. This afternoon I’m hunting a trail coming around a bluff in the hardwoods. The thick stuff is behind me 15 yards. This is some rough hunting with all these hills. I got to go, time to hit this grunt call........

No good this afternoon. Went based on deer sign last year and that was a mistake. It was no acorns last year and this year it is. Totally different.
