if buying a new truck now I would get a Ford. but I wouldn't touch one of those Ecoboost motors with a 10 foot pole. 5.4 for me.
Those eco boosts are the only ford motor I will touch. The power and acceleration and towing capabilities blow the v8 away and I have had both the 5.4 and the 3.5 and looking at possibly getting a 2.7 as well. The 3.5 is a beast
