Im the same way Daniel. I went from bb gun to .22, from shooting at birds with my red rider thinking I was doing something, to hunting squirrels and rabbits with my grandpa with a .22 or .410. I didn't even sit by myself til i was 13. It seems like kids are rushed into things these days. Especially sports, hunting, and relationships. I have friends whose kids are all doing or have done: Travel ball at age 6, in the shooting house at age 4 and school sponsored dances in the 4th grade...…. I completely agree!!!! I don't tell anyone how to parent but in my opinion you can take the specialness away from something if you rush to GIVE it to them and not let them EARN it.
